Northwestern Woodside Reefer #12038
*PLEASE NOTE THAT ART PICTURED ABOVE IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE
Composite construction reefers were frequently given new sides and woodsided cars such as these were common long after all-steel versions of other types of rolling stock became the standard. Included in this release are the rare "curved corner" Pacific Fruit Express cars from the 1930s. Only 22 are known to have been so painted and only 14760 received the script lettering. Other paint schemes were far more common with many lasting from the transition era well into the 1960s or later.
