Lionel 125th New York Central 2133W Catalog Conventional Train Set
*PLEASE NOTE THAT ART PICTURED ABOVE IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE
Appearing in Lionel catalogs in 1948 & 49, the New York Central F3 Set advertised rolling stock that never did get made – showing a 2548 Automobile car with Southern Pacific Graphics, while previous sets had shown a Pennsylvania RR marked car first shown in 1946. Additionally, this set showed the popular NYC Lightning Stripe Scheme in Black, which ultimately also did not get produced. In celebration of Lionel's 125TH Anniversary, we wanted to honor the set as cataloged in a "what-if" it did get produced scheme as the concept artists originally intended it to look as close can be with current Lionel tooling.
