Building on the success of their FA-1, Alco lengthened the body of the FA-2model to provide space for an optional steam generator. This made thenew model suitable for both freight and passenger service. Capitalizingon that, we’ve taken a few liberties in this release and added a few “what if”passenger and freight versions in some of our favorite paint schemes.Of course, you’ll find prototypical paint schemes as well including ErieLackawanna and Louisville and Nashville units complete with Hancock airwhistles.
