A prototype of the Operating Freight Terminal has been catalogued in the Lionel Archives since the early 1980s with origins that appear to be decades earlier.
Now for the first time in Lionel history, this entertaining concept will be finalized and manufactured.
This piece consists of a long loading platform and an illuminated building. A stamped metal conveyor carries boxes into a waiting freight car – or so it seems!
